With the NEWBOOKS Approval Plan System, library suppliers and library consortia offer their clients a system for precise selection and efficient acquisition of all relevant media. Based on detailed acquisition profiles and comprehensive catalogues, strategic buyers receive precise order proposals at individually defined intervals. Additional modules are available, such as an OPAC matching with library‘s inventory or a service for the supply of MARC records. Additional requirements like the integration with major library systems such as Alma, SISIS and Aleph, barrier-free work processes, and tools for collection building within a library are provided by the system.

The Approval Plan System, customised in supplier's corporate design, enables booksellers to participate in all major tenders nationally and internationally.
