Libraries have the option to be supplied directly with MARC records via ftp or direct data feed. MARC records can also be supplied directly as part of our Approval Plan System for library consortia.

MARC records are important for publishers and their entry into the library market. Only as a MARC record a publication can be integrated into library’s catalogue.
Publishers have the option of purchasing MARC records from NEWBOOKS for their metadata dissemination process or for their platform/eLibrary.
